Happy Holidays

New Holland Fire Department

As the holiday lights twinkle across our beautiful town and the scent of pine fills the air, all of us at the New Holland Fire Department want to take a moment to wish our neighbors a very Merry Christmas.

2025 has been a year of growth and community spirit, and as we gather with our families this week, we are reminded of how grateful we are to serve such a supportive community. Whether you are hosting a large family dinner or enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, your safety remains our top priority.

Keeping the "Merry" in Your Christmas

To ensure your holiday remains full of joy and free from emergencies, we’ve put together a few quick reminders for the season:

  • Hydrate Your Tree: If you have a live tree, please check the water level daily. A dry tree can become fully engulfed in flames in less than 30 seconds.

  • Blow Out the Candles: Never leave a burning candle unattended. If you’re heading to bed or leaving the house, make sure all flames are extinguished.

  • Check Your Alarms: There’s no better Christmas gift to your family than a working smoke detector. Take five minutes today to test yours.

  • Space Heater Safety: Keep heaters at least three feet away from anything flammable, including curtains, wrapping paper, and furniture.

From Our Family to Yours

On behalf of the Fire Chief, the officers, and the entire volunteer firefighters of the New Holland Fire Department, we wish you a peaceful, warm, and safe Christmas.

May your homes be filled with laughter and your hearts with peace.

Stay safe, New Holland!
