As we welcome the arrival of the New Year, the New Holland Fire Department would like to extend our warmest wishes to our residents, business owners, and visitors. The start of a new year is more than just a date on the calendar; for us, it is a renewed commitment to the safety and well-being of the community we call home.
Reflecting on Service
Looking back on the past year, we are reminded of the incredible bond we share with this town. Whether it was responding to emergency calls in the middle of a storm, conducting fire safety checks, or seeing your friendly faces at local community events, every moment reinforced why we do what we do.
We are proud to serve as your local fire department, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us every time the pager sounds.
What’s Ahead in the New Year
Our mission for the upcoming year is simple.
Continuous Improvement. Here is what you can expect from your department in the months to come.
Community Education: We are expanding our outreach programs to help families and seniors stay proactive about fire prevention in their own homes.
Facility & Equipment Care: We are dedicated to maintaining our apparatus and station to the highest standards, ensuring that when you need us, our tools are ready to perform.
A New Year’s Resolution for Your Home
While we are always ready to respond, we would much rather help you prevent an emergency before it starts. This week, we encourage every New Holland resident to make one "Safety Resolution"
Check Your Alarms: Replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Clear the Way: Ensure your driveway and house numbers are clear of debris or snow so that emergency vehicles can find you quickly.
Plan Your Exit: Sit down with your family and establish a fire escape plan with a designated meeting spot outside.
Join Our Ranks
If you are looking for a way to give back to your community this year, there is no better way than joining our team. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to help us protect New Holland. No prior experience is necessary—we provide the training; you provide the heart.
From all of us at the station, we wish you a safe, prosperous, and happy New Year!
