🎆 Happy 4th of July from the New Holland Fire Department! 🎆

As we celebrate our nation's independence, the members of the New Holland Fire Department wish you and your family a safe and joyful holiday. We are proud to serve this community and are grateful for your continued support.

While you enjoy the festivities, we urge everyone to keep safety a top priority. Here are a few reminders to ensure your celebration is memorable for all the right reasons:

Grilling Safety:

  • Keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your home, deck railings, and any overhanging branches.

  • Never leave your grill unattended.

  • Ensure your grill is on a stable surface.

  • Keep a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water nearby.

Fireworks Safety:

  • The safest way to enjoy fireworks is to attend a public display.

  • Remember, the use of consumer fireworks is prohibited in many areas and can be extremely dangerous. Sparklers can burn at over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit!

  • If you choose to use legal fireworks, please do so with extreme caution. Keep a safe distance, have a water source ready, and never allow children to handle them.

Let's work together to have a fire-safe 4th of July. From all of us at the New Holland Fire Department, have a happy and safe Independence Day!
